Was that sarcastic / ironic enough to understand? Seems as though irony is something that a lot of people struggle with so blatant sarcasm seems required.

Shame people don't seem to struggle nearly as much with pedanticism.

If people are down loading 2-5Gb every DAY then these people are abusing the system. Most people use less than 5Gb per MONTH. If you need to download high amounts of data then schedule your computer to do this between 2-6am.

2gig is about 30 minutes use on a 10mbit connection so it's NOT alot of data!

Something you ain't by the looks, would you pay £35 a month to get your email quicker or to have your web pages load up quicker and never go over 2-5gig a month?

Or are you on the lowest tariff and all you do is browse and email? Then if so who are you to say what people on 10mb should and shouldn't do with their service.

Traffic shaping is here and staying, so you are losing out as you are paying for a service that you can not use 100%.

Yes some preople will lose out, shaping can be seen both ways, those that work 9-5 and pay for 10mb could lose out, and that's not fair, and those that are on 24/7 downloading everything won't be bothered by it in all fairness.
