No FTTC Available
Up until a few weeks ago Broadband was available to order from all usual suppliers. I checked today to find all I can get is old broadband at 6 meg or 4G from BT. Sky cannot offer anything
I know FTTP is being rolled out on my exchange. Could the dropping of availability of FTTC mean FTTP is close to being ready?

Re: No FTTC Available
Unlikely.
FTTC is still available to me, as well as FTTP.

Very strange
I am kinda hoping they are holding off new sign ups to get the FTTP going
The whole street has been pulled from fibre and can only get BB or 4G

Re: No FTTC Available
More than likely the cabinet is full.
Use the address checker here https://www.broadbandchecker.btwholesale.com/#/ADSL If it says waiting list then it is full.

Re: No FTTC Available
Dang you are correct says waiting list
It does mention FTTP on demand as available but then at bottom it says it not available
Shame could have used the price increase to jump ship if FTTP was close. Oh well buggar

No probably about it. That's what "waiting list" denotes.

Re: No FTTC Available
It is available again now
Mad thing is Sky recently signed my next door neighbour up to ADSL saying Fibre was not available so the cab would have been full all of a month.

At least you didn't have to wait 2 weeks for install.
BYW the waiting list is fictitious inasmuchas no ISP can out you on one so its the first one who orders once a port becomes available.
Residential FTTP is denoted as WBC FTTP on the checker, FTTPoD is a bespoke businnes service which starts at about £10,000 for the connection. I don't know of any of thr big residential ISP's that supply it.
