Finally after almost 5 years of will they, won't they one of the most anticipated fights in recent boxing history is finally confirmed.

In the past hour Floyd Mayweather has confirmed the deal is done, contracts signed and the fight will take place on 2nd May at the MGM Grand Las Vegas.

Unbelievable. 5 years too late. He'll beat Manny. Mayweather's ducked Khan and went for what's left of Pacman. Amir Khan is the only legitimate threat to Mayweather. Just like Manny was 5 years ago. Point being he had a choice of either, Khans peaking and Mannys getting slower. He'd get too much negative press if he swerved both. He's not willing to get in the ring with the fastest and most accurate puncher in the division.

I'm not disappointed but I'm hardly pleased.
