Call VM. For this type of fault, it's best to call while the fault is actually happening, then they'll hopefully see the problem on their remote monitoring tools.

It's very unlikely to be overheating. There are a load of temperature sensors inside, and it would shut itself down if it was overheating. You almost certainly have a signal quality fault.

Re: ESPN, BT, Euro, Premier and Sky Sports news
As more and more live sporting events are cancelled due to the spread of coronavirus what is the right thing for Sky Sports, BT Sports and Premier Sports to do? Should all sports channels become free to air for everyone until further notice?
Admittedly this is by far the least important thing to worry about at the moment however surely people shouldn't be charged for services that are not delivering the relevant content? By all accounts we are heading into a period of financial uncertainty. Surely Sky, BT and Premier Sports should stop taking subscription fees? At least scrap 30 days cancellation notice to allow people to cancel straight away if they wish

Some very interesting points there Chad and one wonders if any talks have already took place between the PTV sports providers in regards to this.

I was listening to Radio 5 Live the other night. If the Europa League / Champions League are cancelled it's expected TV companies will not have to pay the full broadcast fees. I'd imagine that'll be the same for other sports. I can't see Sky or BT paying full wack for their rights if events continue to be postponed or cancelled. If that is the case their customers shouldn't have to pay for their sports channels.

Yeah it's all up in the air. Everton vs Liverpool will be off due to Everton squad going into self isolation.

Most would settle for a free hand sanitizer and a pack of loo roll.

Re: ESPN, BT, Euro, Premier and Sky Sports news
All football matches have been suspended until at least 3rd April. I just can't see Sky nor BT suspending subs for sports channels though but I do think it would be the right thing to do.

People are already asking Sky and BT on social media what happens to their subscription whilst pretty much all live sport is suspended indefinitely. So far no reply. People can of course cancel but have to give 30 days notice. Under the circumstances consumers should be allowed to cancel with no notice in my humble opinion.
It gets tricky depending on your deal. Now TV were selling 9 month premiership season passes in August last year. If the season is over surely they can claim some money back? Alternatively if the season is extended by a month will customers get the extra month free?
It's totally unprecedented. It's not Sky or BTs fault but at the same time it's not the customer's fault either. Something will need to be decided as people can't be expected to pay for a service that fails to deliver it's main selling point, live sport.

Sometimes companies have to swallow the cost and do the right thing but whether they do no one knows.
