What an absolute load of nonsense.
Billboards and large advertising have been around forever. Never does anyone any sort of harm. I see them but I don't ever think I need to buy that or I am sad as I can't afford it.
This quote from the article is just insane.
Quote:
He said the adverts were "sending a message that our lives are incomplete, we should be striving for more and it really undermines our self-esteem and has a serious impact on our mental health".

I certainly don'y feel undermined by advertising. Surely TV adverts would be more invasive as you are forced into seeing them all the time you watch TV.
What next banning shop signs and window posters? Jeez
