Re: Science Fiction, Fantasy, and other TV Snippets
Yeah I think I mentioned it. It is actually a lot better than it had any right to be really. I never though of Eureka or WH13 but I suppose you're right with that.
Re: Science Fiction, Fantasy, and other TV Snippets
Yeah that's something that caught me. The drop to 25-27 minutes after the initial 45 minute opener. It works though. Enough gets done in the short time to work. It progresses quickly enough to keep you interested so the format works.

I don't normally post news snippets of new green lit series put I thought this would attract some interest.

In it, two agents, played by Steele and Tucker, from two different continents, and two different mindsets, must work together to investigate when wreckage from a destroyed alien spacecraft has mysterious effects on humankind.

It didnt stand out as the show name until I knew what the show name was.
(Which is why I always use bold for names).
Anyway, Star Trek Lower Decks is released on August 6th.
I'm really not sure about this as its a comedy. I'll likely give it a try.

Disney+ has ordered a follow-up to Star Wars: The Clone Wars.
Star Wars: The Bad Batch will follow the clone group first introduced in the clone wars season 7.
Quote:
The series follows the elite and experimental clones of the Bad Batch (first introduced in “The Clone Wars”) as they find their way in a rapidly changing galaxy in the immediate aftermath of the Clone War. Members of Bad Batch – a unique squad of clones who vary genetically from their brothers in the Clone Army — each possess a singular exceptional skill which makes them extraordinarily effective soldiers and a formidable crew. In the post-Clone War era, they will take on daring mercenary missions as they struggle to stay afloat and find new purpose.

It may be a while before we see the final season (5) of Van Helsing.
Production has only just restarted after the covid shutdown, and only three episodes have been filmed so far.
