Freeview 700Mhz Clearance details

Details of all the alterations required for Freeview 700Mhz changes have now been added to the Digital UK website.

If you go to the Postcode checker on the home page & enter your details (check the box for "Detailed View") you will see your local transmitters, plus any aerial changes/retunes that will be required in the next 12 months.

Lost a bunch of channels including PBS and Free sports. Phoned the helpline and when we can arrange a date the aerial is getting replaced by them FOC.

Re: Freeview 700Mhz Clearance details

We get the DVB from the Whitehawk Hill relay in Brighton. Only needed a retune rather than antenna replacement as the frequencies didn't shift too much.

We actually use a loft antenna so replacement wouldn't have been too costly anyway.

But you shouldn't have had to pay anything anyway as it was their fault, provided that you don't subscribe to Virgin Media or have a working satellite installation.

Many people are getting their aerials replaced at no cost.

We have Youview in the bedroom. Noticed we have lost those channels too. We're in the central belt of Scotland between Falkirk and Edinburgh. Will they give a free aerial if the effected TV isn't the main one in the household?

Retuned to get Paramount Network and got PBS and Free sports back. Must admit Freeview is getting better all the time. Also got Now 80's which I didn't expect. Great for me as I love music from the 80's
