Port 51820 not opening, wireguard on virgin media bb?

Port 51820 not opening, wireguard on virgin media bb?

is it better getting a third party router
i want to access my nas remotely using wireguard vpn server, but even open vpn servers dont seem to work

i have opened enabed the port on the admin page, port forwarding *security*

but when i try access or check port, it says failed

can anyone help

I don't know if getting a 3rd party router will solve this issue but i always find a 3rd party router better as it gives u more options for a lot of different things over the VM hub.

Food for thought; not all routers are equal and just because you are buying your own router doesn't mean it is a good router. A few years ago a neighbour asked me if I would pop round and help him setup a new router he had bought. I was semi excited thinking I would be able to do so cool things for him but it turned out it was absolutely cack (TP Link router from PC World) and wasn't much better than the shub.
