Re: The Happy Thought Thread Part 4
Received an out of court settlement for disability discrimination from a major company today.
Part of the settlement is a payment to go to charities of my choice. I have calculated that I have just about £2,500 left after making my donations.
If anyone here is involved in a worthwhile charity, please PM their details and what they do and i'll consider asking the company to make an amount available

Now we need a cheesy acceptance speech, and don't forget the dolly grip and the best boy in your thank you's.

Silly in a way but that really made me laugh.
I do share your glee and I feel like doing a happy dance. Not a single test result has come back as worse than last week which is a first in a very long time.

Well that is a Happy Thought if I've ever heard one dilli you have such a brilliant way at looking at life. Honestly if you could bottle it you would make a fortune my friend.

Re: The Happy Thought Thread Part 4
Just paid our Center parcs holiday, I'm really looking forward to this break. We have booked a 3 bedroom detached as this gives our eldest son and his fiancée a room should they decide to join us, atm it looks like they will arrive mid week and stay for one night.
If I'm honest I'm secretly hoping they will change there minds and stay longer maybe even stay the full week. I know that I'm just being greedy but I could think of nothing nicer than us all together just chilling together. Hubby thinks I'm off my head if I think for one minute the pair of them will give up a empty house for the week but one can hope can't they.

Re: The Happy Thought Thread Part 4
My eldest is away with his Fiancée for a few day's and my youngest is staying with my Mother in law so my happy thought is it's nice for me and my hubby to have the place
to ourselves for a change.
It's a nice change as our home is usually so busy, we always have something going on so it's nice just to chill with my better half
