Try spiderplants work round first. It works, but I have noticed it loses picture and sound for a split second every now and then. Ordered some new hdmi leads last night from Amazon, will try these later on hoping it will sort the cutout problem.

Re: UHD on Virgin Media
Ok, further investigations and tests . . . I've now got HDR working on V6 Netflix - another setting on the LG TV video settings (I really should have known about this one). So, waiting until tomorrow to see if it works on the iPlayer, Wimbledon Centre Court.
Thanks to all who helped.

Re: UHD on Virgin Media
Just wondering if anyone who CAN view the UHD Wimbledon streams have a TV that is NOT on this compatible device list but are able to view the UHD via the V6 iplayer?
I have a Samsung KS9000 and i can view the UHD feed via the V6 iplayer app but not via the built in TV iplayer app.

I didn't realise that list showed the V6 and other devices that can view HLG UHD streams, I thought it was just TVs so that explains things.

FYI This sorted out my sound and picture cut out problem. One other thing I have noticed though,on my AV amp the audio readout flickers between Pro-logic and Dolby Digital on the HD channels,if I stream media from my computer or Netflix or Amazon it is rock steady on DD.Any ideas on what can cause this?

Re: UHD on Virgin Media
Just a heads up for anyone that doesn't have a V6 or compatible TV for HLG streaming content.
Amazon are currently selling the Fire Stick 4K for only £24.99(prime day) 50% off, it is a no brainer if you need something like this as it does so much more.

It can launch as early as new years day.
Virgin has launch both Sky Sports News HD and Sky News HD in the past on New Years Day.

My guess is later in the year - August at the earliest (start of the next Premier League season)

Could be referring to the lunar year
(I'm kidding before anyone takes me seriously, I'm referencing a joke I made to den the other day about how far you could theoretically stretch summer).

BT Sport Ultimate will be showing 52 Premier League games and a selection of Champions League and Europa League games at 50 frames per second in 4K Ultra HD, HDR and with Dolby Atmos.
The 1st match on the new channel will be this afternoon with the FA Community Shield match between Liverpool and Manchester City
