Mine too. Now two of them are old enough to want to vote, our phone bill is just getting bigger and bigger.

Re: Our Licence money wasted -again (Eurovision)
I don't watch it read some news/watch some clips about it each year. I do wonder why the UK always enters pensioners for their songs. They were good in their day but all the other countries enter younger contestants who still have a strong voice

I guess younger artists wouldn't do it, for fear of wrecking their credibility, or the music label won't let them. Bonnie Tyler and Engelbert Humperdinck haven't got much to lose.

I find it a good bit of Saturday evening entertainment,

I watched it, and based my view on the current experience, rather than previous experience.

It's just another good reason for us to get out of Europe IMO

Re: Our Licence money wasted -again (Eurovision)
I popped over and saw the summary of the acts...but heard someone overtalking who was annoying. I think he fancied his own voice more than anything else
That annoyed me, but from what I seen of the acts (and heard despite the annoying voice), it might have been bearable, if I had nothing else to watch

Re: Our Licence money wasted -again (Eurovision)
If it's rigged, how come one of the ex-Eastern Bloc countries didn't win?

The show has a political element, yes. 'Totally', however? No.
