Re: STB Updated with a solid state drive!

I must have missed something on the link - it hasn't got any instructions on how to clone a 1Tb disk to a 4 Tb disk.

Neither does it indicate that this will give a 4Tb working disk for VM or sky.

Has anyone even tried it?

You did miss it, or couldn't be bothered to read it.

Press and hold the offline-clone button for 3 seconds, the LED indicator that marks 100% clone progress will light up. Quickly press the button again, and offline clone starts. One by one 4 LED indicators will flash and be on 25%-50%-75%-100%. When the offline clone is 100% completed, 4 LED lights will stay on until the device is turned off.

Re: STB Updated with a solid state drive!

It's not straightforward that the V6, or a Sky HD box, would behave with the new partitions.

Obviously missed it, as I did look because I was especially interested how it would work.

Thank you for pasting it in your reply

Re: STB Updated with a solid state drive!

i was sent a link about the V6 STB and was told that using the device from the last link an upgread of a V6 STB would be Very easy.

https://youtu.be/6isteKO4zxI

Bit that got me about this video was how small the V6 itself is!
