Just #VMO2 things lol.

Guess I see what happens in 2 weeks.

Re: 1gig Rollout getting faster

VM activated, seeing M500 config.

It seems like Volt is managed through the O2 side so trying to talk to them now.

Yeah so originally I couldnt get my benefits to apply and a chat with O2 fixed this. Within a few days I got an email saying the benefits have been applied and I saw my double data etc. A few days after that I got a note from VM saying my Hub 4 was on the way (which was a nice surprise as even now you cannot order Gig1 in my area!).

The Hub 4 did initially have the 600 mbps config file (my previous one), after about 4 hours it randomly rebooted and was Gig1 was there (my impatient manual reboots made no difference)

Thanks, that gives me hope.

Not sure if I will bother harassing O2/VM more or just see if it fixes itself in a few days. I've already gone through one 90 min phone stint being passed around in circles.

Re: 1gig Rollout getting faster

just had a tinker setting up PFsense on some spare hardware i had nocking about to see if i could get round robin working instead of splashing out for the unifi or other methods and it works perfectly fine, Using a QNAP QXG-2G1T-I225 for the LAN interface, currently this was just a point to point test using the 2.5Gbe card i have in my desktop but ive got a QNAP QSW-2104-2T on the way as my Unraid nas has 10Gbe ports ive never made much use of so covers both sides

Re: 1gig Rollout getting faster

Hi guys I am trying to get this to work with crs305-1g-4s+ and unifi dream machine. I have got it working but it seems to use one of the eth from hub 4 it is not balanced. and I can achieve preety close the same speed just coming from hub 4 to unfi. the best speed i have seen is 920mb

I know it can only be a setting issue if any one can point me in the right direction please I am going mad

Thats a great price. Did you do it over the phone or web chat?

UDM or UDMP? UDM is only a 1Gbit ethernet WAN.

A few people (including me) have at various points had it decide to only use one port (although uploads are still balanced), but most of those people found this went away a few software versions ago. It only tends to be the downstream that stops balancing - the perils of using an undocumented unsupported feature I think.

Does it ever work for you?

Dream Machine Pro I am using with 10g spf+ it is working but seems to favour one connection more than the other

Re: 1gig Rollout getting faster

Spoke to O2 today and they say they have activated Volt.

Got this message:

Hopefully that means it will work shortly, although it's not yet showing in MyO2 or VM account. I have a small amount of faith.
