PHILIPS HDD 7 DVD 3570H/3590H Hardrive Issue
Forgive me if this is the wrong category.
I have the above and it has deleted from the hard drive images I need for legal purposes. I did not request for the recordings to be deleted, the recorder seemed to hibernate and re set it self - can anyone help with salvaging information from a hard drive?
Cheers

If the HDD is internal to the unit then obviously you'll have to remove it and attach to a PC especially as this and other recovery software runs on PC's..
As long as the disk hasn't been used for recording other video then you should be OK and the files will be soft deleted..

No luck at all yet. Trying to connect the computer to the recorder and contacting friends to try and get some physical help.
I need the images as I have alegal case against a neighbour and the images are of him coming into my drive, chucking metal poles and wet concrete onto my car - it was a breakthrough to catch him.

Re: PHILIPS HDD 7 DVD 3570H/3590H Hardrive Issue
If it's that important I'd suggest involving technical help such as a local computer tech who will know how to remove the disk and hook it up to a PC. I'd be wary of trying anything with the disk in it's current unit in case it messes up the situation even more.

I have a friend in Glasgow who may be able to help, I'll drop him a line and see if he has free time.
