Am I right in thinking this is the last of the Marvel commissions still awaiting release by Netflix? IIRC Luke Cage, The Punisher, Iron Fist and Daredevil have already bitten the dust ....

yup, this is cancelled as well (meaning they are all gone), they filmed this before they announced the cancellation though so it is the last series in the franchise with unaired episodes. It is a shame, and I don't know why they are bothering to advertise it because from my point of view as the viewer it is a deflating anti-climax. No matter how good it is I can't look forward to more.

Re: Marvel’s Jessica Jones
The thing that has annoyed me most is that they have put very open endings on all of them, if not actual cliffhangers then definitely of the “to be continued” type. Especially Daredevil, with setting up agent Poindexter as Bullseye. Whether that’s down to Netflix’s lackadaisical attitude to renewals and cancellations or because Marvel Studios has an eye on producing more material for Disney+ I don’t know. Hopefully the latter, as it might even make me subscribe.
... and also Iron Fist, where he only seemed to actually fully develop his powers in the last 90 seconds of the final episode
Hopefully the latter, as it might even make me subscribe.
yeah, I have had a couple of rants about the quantity of streaming services in the past but I think this is one of the ones you are going to want to pay for. You have got all the Disney stuff, Marvel and Starwars.............and potentially the 20th Century Fox library going forward.

Re: Marvel’s Jessica Jones
David Tennant was a really hard act to follow, possibly too hard, but I also think they lean way too hard on the “not quite a hero” thing with Jessica Jones, and it ends up being little more than a regular private eye take a lot of the time. I’d have liked to see her actually being Jewel at some point, but I think that’s a very faint hope for season 3.
