Well if it is correct demand £2,500 back and treat yourself.

Make sure you take copies from your Bulb account because you will lose all access to it VERY shortly like I did when they move you over to Octopus, your existing balance and bills will transfer over though but it'll be up to you to remember what your Bulb balance was before the transfer.

Make sure Bulb reduce your direct debit asap as this direct debit will get moved over to Octopus which may happen any day now, hopefully the automated move won't happen before they refund you or it could get messy.

My happy start is that I have finally come away from my detested Three mobile, donated the balence left to a favourite charity and, as of 5 minutes ago, I'm up and running with 1p mobile. £10 every 120 days and the £5 referral has been applied by 1p as a further 120 days so no top up needed until late October. Win Win Win Win.

Great move Jo, after reading this I decided to see about swopping over to 1p mobile, however 02 says my contract is for 24 months and if I left before that date I would have to pay a penalty. So I am stuck with them for another 15 months. 02 is increasing their charges in April.

Just booked a summer break - me, my two brothers-in-law, and my daughter’s father-in-law, are going on a boys*[?) sailing holiday in the Ionian Islands first week in July.

The joy of flotilla holidays is you have start and end points each day, but how you (and how long it takes you to) get there is up to the skipper (AKA my brother-in-law); we get to stop over in a different harbour each night, with 3-6 hours sailing each day, finding a nice isolated cove for swim/lunch, then find a taverna for the evening meal - some hydration may be undertaken…
