TP-Link RE200 with Superhub 2 problem

Although I don't live in a particularly large house, unfortunately my Shub is right in one corner. which means not a great signal in some other parts. To solve this problem, I bought a TP-Link RE200 WiFi range extender. Hard as I try however I cannot get it to stay connected to the Shub. I set it up using WPS, but after about 2 minutes, it just disconnects itself.
I then tried to follow the user guide to get into the extenders settings, can't even get past the first hurdle there!
Just on the off chance, has anyone else got one of these and managed to set it up successfully with a Shub 2, he asks hopefully?

Re: TP-Link RE200 with Superhub 2 problem

if you cant connect to the range extenders and log into some sort of admin page then it is possible they are faulty and need returning. It might be worth ringing VM and asking them how much they would charge you for a shub2ac or maybe consider buying a proper router if you cant get any type of homeplug up and running.

Re: TP-Link RE200 with Superhub 2 problem

I've got a TP Link extender, I'm on Sky Broadband.

To be honest I found it easy to set up, and I have also been able to log onto the admin settings too.

Is the extender in decent proximity to the SHub? I think you need at least 3n0. LED lights on the TP.

The only issue I have with it is various peripherals connected to it or the sky hub drop out sometimes. A bit annoying but for the price not a big issue.
