Re: Streetworks
I hate coincidences but I would have thought the two are mutually exclusive. The graph is all to do with pings and delays and you have got regular spikes throughout the night and I doubt the guys had their pneumatic drill out every hour Have you gone back to see when it started?

Re: Streetworks
Plus compared to some that graph is far from terrible lol. you should not notice any day to day difference with these latency spikes..

Re: Streetworks
OK, I wondered if they'd disturbed the cable. Just started the work yesterday. Would the cold affect it at all?

No. If temperature was affecting the shub it would be reflected in your power levels and you would see a decrease.

Re: Streetworks
Just switched off the CM for a while, to see if that makes a difference. Higher spikes started Sunday night, I checked Monday. Firmware not changed.

Re: Streetworks
Sometimes that helps because if there is an issue with noise on some channels in your bonding group and there are more channels available it is possible when you reconnect to use different channels. As an example, if you have got a shub 2 you can only use 8 channels but there will be 20+ available to you in your area so it is highly probable if your shub is disconnected for a period of time that when you reconnect at least half the channels will be different.
