When do i get my free minutes on new bundle?

Last Friday (13th) went to a Virgin Media shop where i changed my bundle to £15-32 tariff where i will get 600 mins free, unlimited text and 1GB web allowance. Got a text after a few minutes saying my current bundle is cancelled and another text saying my new bundle is activated. Have been told by the shop that i will receive a text within 24-48 hours saying how many minutes i have etc etc.

Have waited till today and no text messages. When i dial 789 all i get is ''you have over 1000 virgin minutes''. In the past the recording used to tell me how many minutes i have left etc etc.

Rang up the customer helpline and was told my account is okay. When i rang again i was told that my 600 free minutes will be activated next month on the 13th. What she was saying i will not have any free minutes in the first month.

Is this correct?

What shall i do? Ring them again tomorrow or go back to the shop?

Thanks in advance for any replies.
