Re: Belkin to buy Linksys ?
Anything belkin I have had has performed well, and they do lifetime warranty, so if it spontaneously combusts they will replace it FOC
If I put a sticky label on my linksys E4200 saying Netgear, would it make it any worse? The company will still be the same

Re: Belkin to buy Linksys ?
the older ranges were ok until they started to die but they had the lifetime warranty so yeah big plus. since then the surf play range had no lifetime warranty offer iirc. its now 2 years I think. plus that range sucked. not sure about the new range. i did have a n150 but i didnt get a chance to test it, had to give it away.

Re: Belkin to buy Linksys ?
Everything I have ever had from Belkin sucked. Just the luck of the draw I suppose but nowadays I don't even entertain Belkin products.

No, it was really yonks ago, back in the win98 days, IIRC it was a PCI card to give a usb2 port. For some reason it would not work in my ABIT mobo? I remember Belkin did offer me a refund but as it worked OK in my daughters HP PC i installed it and she got the benefit.

They were. Cisco are leaving the consumer market.
