Question Wireless router setup

Hi there everyone,

I have just bought a Wii and would like to hook it up to the internet, but I only have a wired internet connection at home. A friend from work has lent me a wireless router to save me buying a usb / ethernet adapter etc, but the cable going into my existing modem doesn't fit it.

I have virgin media broadband, the cable for which comes through directly into the room, and so it does not connect through a telephone port - which is what the wireless router needs.

If anyone can offer any help as to how I can sort this out I would be very grateful!

Thanks very much

I've got a doc that will help secure you wireless network.

What Router Model is it.

There are two types ADSL this is over the phone line

Or a Cable/DSL which connects to the modem
