Re: Upload speed increase on VM Business

i hope so, doesn't look like gig1 is coming here anytime soon and im only really after a faster upload so if 500 residential gets 50 i wouldn't really be so fusses on gig1 with a 52 as TBF 500 is already fast enough for me

I doubt it. That would mean 100Mb for the 1Gb service.

exactly, that is what it should beat at the very least. If they wanted to be flashy and shout about it and put the other isps to shame it would be 200mbits up (using docsis 3.1). They have missed an opportunity to be the first isp to reach 1gbit and do it with a bang and say "look how awesome we are" (which they clearly aren't )

I asked CS about this the other day, because I am considering moving to Gigafast 900 Vodaphone. There are no plans to deploy to Docsis 3.1 on the upstream, let along 200Mb or 100Mb. VM TV ain't that wonderful, so Vodaphone, here I come.

Customer services won't know about future technical plans until they're either in pilot or rolling out.

I suppose thats nice if you can get "Gigafast 900 Vodaphone". No such option around here.

Great news - you can get speeds of up to 56.1Mbps to your WiFi hub
New definition of "Great news" I hadn’t come across before…
