Re: What have you just bought?
I’ve just bought a book, Brooklands: the Sports car endurance racers.
Looks like a very interesting read.

Re: What have you just bought?
I bought a Samsung 32 inch monitor but when I turned it on and started setting it up I found it set to a custom setting so it has to have been previously set up. Returned. Once that refund is cleared I am going to buy a Oculus Quest 2 and link cable

The new vacuum arrived today, safe to say the old shark cordless will be relegated for light cleaning duties upstairs

Re: What have you just bought?
Spiral springs to repair several door handles. The manufacturer will not sell them to the public "in case of injury", but you can only recently buy them from a second party.
From the first month after fitting them, the springs started to snap, but Wickes would only exchange when there were 3 sets faulty as they were sold in a multipack.
And bizarrely, they didn't want the broken handles back on the THREE occasions I exchanged packs of 3 sets.
So now I'll have 9 handle sets ready to replace the next ones that break in the future.

Re: What have you just bought?
I can look at my credit card app and see a list of all the shops I supposedly bought stuff this afternoon … needless to say the only purchase that had anything to do with me was in Tim Hortons. The rest were taken care of by the female members of the household.

Son has one, it’s rarely off his head of an evening. He has VR chats and all sorts with it.

Re: What have you just bought?
I’m interested in getting one of those but concerned how it would work with glasses wearers.
The original PlayStation VR was terrible for people wearing spectacles

I’ve had a try out with them and they seemed fine to me, at least for the 10-15 minutes I was using them.
