VM Business : Home Broadband fine; Business Broadband terrible

Hello all

First post so please be gentle.

I live in the same road as my office and both places are pretty much the same distance from the ‘pit’ supplying the road.

I’ve got VM 1gig and getting 950mbps no problem via a Hub5.

At the office, I should be getting 1gig but more days than not I get nothing. When it does sometimes connect, it will drop out and reconnect after a short while.

It’s been re-cabled from the pit to the office recently.

Engineers constantly confused.

Anyone any idea why it’s perfect at home but unusable at the office?

I can't answer your question but I can empathise! We have a number of houses on out street with VM and VMB (and I moved across too a few years back)
Often have VMB drop outs or intermittency but the VM folk have no issues
