D link 165 possible upgrade ?

Hi all

I have a D link615 which at frist was ok but the range seems to have dropped recently and I often lose connection on my smart phone around the house.

Tied all the normal things to improve range but I am limited by wires etc....

Any ideas on increasing range easlier or any recommendation on an improved model (like the idea of an directional one)

Many thanks for your time

Regards

Mike

Not much help this, but I've just returned a dlink DIR615. Only a 6 weeks old and the wireless side seemed to pack in. Could only connect through cables. Got a Netgear N-300 now. Seems fine.
