Re: Nano USB - WIFI
Yes, a USB Wifi adapter, just a tiny one - not at all impressed by that price, from 7dayshop you can find a Nano for £4.19 - ah, on backorder, £4.49 for one you can order now.
For £5.99 - a couple of larger N300 speed models
Or £6.99, a not quite Nano N300 - though I find it hard to believe such a piddlingly small antenna spacing truly delivers 2T2R performance

Re: Nano USB - WIFI
Bear in mind you won't get as good performance as a "proper" card or dongle as the aerial is so tiny!

Re: Nano USB - WIFI
I'd be interested to hear from one of the forum experts on the likely performance of these type of things

Re: Nano USB - WIFI
Depends where you stick 'em really.
The maximum performance of most antennas are limited to low single digit dBs anyway so there's not a whole lot to lose.

Re: Nano USB - WIFI
I have a little nano-WiFi dongle in my Raspberry Pi, and it seems to do the job!

On the poorer end of the 1-85Mb range, depending on the mode, distance and interference.
They have their uses (RPi) but single stream, single antenna wifi devices (whether nano, normal sized usb adapter, or in-built wifi card) are generally to be avoided because they're less reliable than MIMO devices, as well as slower.
