Depends how much they want, the only interest I have is Ice Hockey.

MB is posting £7.99 a month on his blog.
If so that is simply too much imo....

Re: ESPN, BT, Euro, Premier and Sky Sports news
I'll pay it, but only when the RL and the NRL season get under way (February).
I've been following this thread since it started, purely to get access to PS. This si like Christmas for me!

Is it a known issue then, what's it like on Sky?
Am interested in the NHL but honestly don't think I'd pay to watch that poor a PQ

I agree wholeheartedly with the above statements, however on the flip side Boxnation @ £10 (one sport) and no HD I dont remember when this was launched that people begrudged the price and there was no month free when launched on Virgin if I recall (there was a one month on Sky)

Re: ESPN, BT, Euro, Premier and Sky Sports news
I think my Box Nation fans would point out that the channel is a boxing specialist and is worth the money for that expertise and the fights covered especially considering the pay per fights charges that others charge?
Is that right folks?

Just got in and turned on PS. Is not my sort of channel, but the sd pic seems no worse than many.....

i agree - nice to see NHL- picture is ok but like you say has to be HD really.
£7.99 might still be cheaper than on sky but still too much for me as well for one sd channel with minimal content

I would pay for NFL Network should it ever become available on VM. So I can see why people pay for Box Nation.

Given up with pool on PS. Listening to David Mellor on Bizet instead.
That says a lot for PS!

Re: ESPN, BT, Euro, Premier and Sky Sports news
Sales aren't going to be good at £7.99 a month - In fact I'd probably go as far as saying PS may even make a loss on this, over the long term.

Just checked again and it looks better on the pre-recorded segments of this Cage Fighting programme, will check it when it's got a live fight on.
The football I watched this morning looked awful though.

Hmm it's still pretty poor, with the outline of the fighters almost hazy at times.
I've not had any PQ issues with any other SD channels, well not that I watch them much so maybe it's just a perception thing as am used to watching HD (got a 50" LED Samsung telly)
