In the old Cardiff CableTel/ntl area there were a few 'Anti Vandal/Anti Chav' cabinets installed where residents complained. These cabinets had a sharp sloping top fitted on the existing cabinet so it was impossible for kids to sit on them.
Considering the companies financial situation it would probably break the bank to fit one of these!
To have a cabinet relocated fom in front of a driveway should be an easy task, if the company does not move it a few accidental incidents of damage caused by someone using your driveway as a turning area should see the task done.

Re: The Virgin Media cabinets in the street
Hi yes I have a cabinet outside my home it is used for a meeting place for drug dealers selling all kinds on a daily basis.I have also seen people have sex over it and it is constantly used as a urinal by men who stop in there cars get out and urinate all over it.it's a disgrace to the street.the police the council and virgin media do nothing about this like it's a normal daily thing that should go on.25 youths I moved from this cabinet at weekend.I will be shaming virgin media as they refuse to put it in the ground where it should be anyway.the councils are responsible to for allowing this behaviour to carry on.

Re: The Virgin Media cabinets in the street
The sloping roof top fails to work.youths sit on it still usually 8 at a time.what's the attraction maybe it's the green colour?does it matter how old threads are it's just comments about how stupid vm cabinets are and there reluctant responsibility to deal with issues surrounding them.

Drug dealing, sex and peeing are not a VM problem. That's something you need to bring up with the police. If it wasn't there, people would have sex over the fence/car, pee up the lamppost and drug deal anyway. You cant blame a metal object for society's problems.

Re: The Virgin Media cabinets in the street
Making the boxes 'uncomfortable' i.e. adding sharp edges and the like, would also leave VM open to the minefield of personal claims regarding people 'accidentally' stumbling onto it and injuring themselves.
Street furniture of any kind has to conform to certain criteria.
