Re: Moans and Pet Hates part 8
My Sister's Sister In-law phone my sister to say she's got to cancel them coming over on Easter Sunday.
My sister said why what's up?
She said her hubby just dropped a bombshell, I don't love you any-more and I'm leaving you.
This has totally floored her.
But in recent months he has changed his circle of friends.
My sister will sort her out as she works for a solicitors that deals with divorce, and will insure he pays all costs.
The idiot doesn't know what he's giving up.

Lidl's "improved" cling film. Absolutely useless!

I'll probably try Sainsbury's seeing as it's local. Lidl's film used to be fine but they've "improved" it. Now it clings so securely to itself that it tears on the roll and mashes up and you just can't unpick it. Even if you manage to get some off the roll it starts mashing up into itself and won't pull apart. I spent about ten minutes this morning trying to unpick it off the roll, swearing like a trooper whilst the OH was killing himself laughing. That's when I lost it and chucked it in the bin.
Best stuff I've had recently was from Morissons down with my mother.
I've filled in Lidl's product feedback form suggesting that somebody actually test this directly off the production line in it's user form.

Sounds like my cousin..
She got married a few years ago to a man with a good job in IT. The happy couple moved to Dubai for a year, then moved back and had kids. Now, a couple of years later, they are getting divorced and he suddenly can't afford to pay maintenance, even though he can afford to buy a new house that is apparently considerably larger than the one he shared with my cousin.
Still, I never did really like him. I only met him on their wedding day (which isn't a surprise, she lives 90 miles from me, and I can't drive, so I don't see her often), but he made no attempt to be remotely friendly to any of the family.

Re: Moans and Pet Hates part 8
My little sis will make sure she gets every penny.
My sister will be there for her, even offering to look after the kids for the night.
But to be fair I very much doubt he will see his sons going short, and buy them the stuff kids need these days.

Thanks for the tip Kymmy.
I won't bother with the film, the roll is all mucked up now and even once I get some off, it's so clingy and static charged that it gets tangled up in itself before you can use it for anything, plus the numb nuts have put the cutting edge on the lid so there's never a "tail" of film to help you pull out the next length as there is when the cutter is on the bottom edge of the box.

We bought several rolls of 500ft Cling Film at North Weald Market in Essex 5 years ago and still on the first box, at the same time we bought several rolls of 100ft foil.

Re: Moans and Pet Hates part 8
Well customer services at Lidl have assigned me a reference number and they're going to look into it. I've sent a list of my observations.
Probably send me a voucher, hope it's not for more film.

Storm Katie. Brought down 2 neighbours fences overnight. One of whom never bothers with their fence even though it is their responsibility to do so.
