Another timing difference, digitalbitrate hasn't updated Red Button 2's sid number yet.

BBC Red Button 2 has been rename Eurosport UHD tonight by Virgin Media.

Strictly speaking, Virgin moved BBC Red Button 2 last weekend. Digitalbitrate holds onto the old information for a while to show the end date for removed services and that is all you were seeing there. As soon as a new service is given the old sid number, digitalbitrate can no longer show the removal date for the old one.
It's good to see that the Eurosport pop-up channels are now on the actual EPG.

Media Boy Sources says Sky are going to stop providing their channels to other providers in the future, Comcast want Sky channels exclusive to Sky and Now.

Although possible as it is their channels are they really going to do that and miss advertising a subscription revenue from millions of households?
Not to mention their move of Sky Arts to Freeview.

That really would not surprise me it’s Comcast we’re talking about

They lost a lot when Sky basic channels were removed from VM. Not to say it couldn't happen though if they think they will be able to mop up the customers of competitors
It won't affect BT and some others who now provide TV via Now TV anyway. Maybe VM will simply become a Now TV reseller too?

They will bring in the money via streaming instead. I am sure they will be quite happy to welcome Virgin customers to their own platforms, whether it's satellite or streaming.

At least Virgin viewers would gain access to Sky Atlantic through their boxes. At last.

I've had a NOW TV box (recently had to replace it with a NOW tv stick) for 7+ years just to get Sky Atlantic - never had any problems with it but a NOW app on VM would be good!

Tbf back then NOW didn't exist, it'll be a different ball game this time around especially with the rumoured SKYQ online service too.

Imho i think VMs tv days may be numbered, they will concentrate more on the broadband they're already testing 3gbs speeds.

Get a fire tv stick if you can NOWTV is on them now and you get access to more apps including plex which is great if you have stuff you purchased on a computer or even home videos etc you can view on your tv without need to run leads across.

SkyQ online service has been rumoured for years, very unlikely to happen at all according to SkyQ forum.

Re: Changes to Virgin TV (2021)
IIRC Virgin Media is currently testing a service to bring many streaming services together under a single umbrella for its subscribers.
