All services have gone down

Anyone working at VM know what happened in the Leeds 14 area lights flickered for a second and all services went off VM have just updated their site to say all services apart from phone line are down?

I'm just poking my nose in really as to what knocked them off as it hasn't affected anything else in the house.

Glad I'm with 3 mobile for tethering.

***edit***

Seems there is a power outtage local to me, estimated fix for northern power grid 01.18am (estimated fix for VM - 16.00 on the 27th) lol

Re: All services have gone down

Your lights flickering would indicate a local power outage / surge rather than Virgin themselves, however a few years ago we had a power outage and the local cab didn't "come back on" by itself, it needed an engineer to attend the next day, didn't get to ask him what happened but I suspect there was a power surge that blew an amp or something.

Maybe the same thing happened here?

Re: All services have gone down

Yeah probably the case, seems ok now though. I used to live in an area that had a power outtage every other week. saved on electric though lol
