Re: What have you just bought?
Glipton Leather Conditioner.
Bought it for the seats in the Beemer. As well as nourishing and cleaning the leather it also leaves a strong leather scent on the seats.
Works well on leather jackets and Mrs B’s handbags and shoes too

Re: What have you just bought?
Another 2 pillows which I bought a few weeks ago and they're the best pillows I've ever used, not bad for £18 a pair, I highly recommend these if anyone is considering buying some.

Re: What have you just bought?
My dad needed to lose £1k, so he bought himself a 28" TV which will go into my mums room, and himself the Samsung Galaxy Tab S7+ (£800) waiting for the £220 Keyboard case to become available.

Re: What have you just bought?
I bought 3 x 5m Cat 5 cables in pound land a quid a piece.
These were ideal for hardwiring my FreeSat, DVD and TV to my Access Point and they work a treat.

Re: What have you just bought?
50M of external Ethernet cable to run from my router up through the loft, down the outside wall of the house, through the wall with a socket on each end. I’m fed up with not being able to use Catch Up in the evenings as my Powerline adapters dry up!

Just bought 3 of these on a recommendation to see if i can speed up my internal network.
A mate has bought a few and he reckons they work a treat.

Re: What have you just bought?
$2 a month Patreon subscription to one of my favourite authors, John Birmingham (Axis of Time trilogy, Without Warning trilogy, Girl Out Of Time books) - for this I get
Quote:
for two bucks a month, you're in. As I write each chapter you get it here. As each volume is published, you get the ebook. But you'll also get lots of cool things that don't make it into the final, published copies. Short fiction. Character studies.
|
At the moment, I am read the draft chapters of an Audible audiobook of his (Zero Day Code) - it’s not available in print as Audible have an exclusive on it for a couple of years, but his drafts are available to subscribers.

Re: What have you just bought?
Books -
Storylines: Your Map To Understanding The Bible - Mike Pilivachi and Andy Croft
https://smile.amazon.co.uk/gp/produc...?ie=UTF8&psc=1
Will be using this with a new study group at church.
The Branch Exposition of the Bible, Volume 1: A Preacher's Commentary of the New Testament - Michael Eaton
https://smile.amazon.co.uk/gp/produc...?ie=UTF8&psc=1
This is a new book recommended by some people I have greatly respect and trust.
