Anyone else have issues nearly every week?

Hi all,

It seems nearly every week or every two weeks Virgin seem to have issues and just goes down. SuperHub then continues to reboot until it's able to make a valid connection. Seems like some sort of area problem as the status page always gets updated to say there are problems in the area.

Just getting a tad annoying. For those who are into this sort of stuff this is the logs from the "Network Status" of the SuperHub

Re: Anyone else have issues nearly every week?

My connection went down yesterday about 1pm'ish and didn't come back online until 4:15pm today. It was down for most of the UK, but mainly England and Wales.

Re: Anyone else have issues nearly every week?

Nope, I very rarely get issues, and the last one I did get was a national issue.

It seems to be an intermittent fault on your street cabinet, but the fault always goes away by itself before the network engineer gets there, so the callout gets cancelled. I've asked for an engineer to go out to look at it.

Re: Anyone else have issues nearly every week?

Everyday,my wife and get wifi drop outs on our phones. This happens a lot when the 2 young adults in our house are on their playstations. I wonder if its the repoted faults with the Superhub 3.

This has been happening for around 6 weeks so there must also be large usage on the network as well as in our house.

Setup a broadband monitor just so you can see the effect and not think you're going crazy:

How long did it go for? I don't see the same errors in your modem log, and no automated fault ticket was raised.

Probably like 5-10 minutes - So nothing like it was when this thread was originally posted. But similar situation where you just watch the SuperHub do it's reboots.

Re: Anyone else have issues nearly every week?

Guys my son says it’s happening every time we leave the house. I thought it was coincidence but now I’m beginning to believe him. Anyone got any idea why? We have a loose slab on the driveway could that interfere with the cable. Surely our phones couldn’t be the reason.
