Oomph to Volt

Renewed my Ultimate Oopmh and got Ultimate Volt in its place and now have VM sim and an O2 sim.

It was done via webchat (painful experience, took over 5 hours !

Does the VM sim get cancelled automatically as I gave up on hold on the phone or do I need to terminate it manually somehow ?

Re: Oomph to Volt

If they haven’t already you will need to request a PAC from VM by doing the below:

Text ‘PAC’ and your date of birth (in DD/MM/YYYY format) to 65075 For example: PAC 01/03/1984

Once you have this you will then need to provide this to O2. The easiest way I have found is to go to here and provide them with all the info.

Hope this helps. It avoids having to speak to anyone and also should compete next working day if you complete the O2 form before 5pm Monday to Friday.

Once all competed your old Virgin Mobile sim will no longer be active and your number will be moved to O2.

Snap, did the same and, like you, it took me close to 5 hours on webchat---how is that even possible.
It wasn't made clear to me, maybe it was to you, but you get 2 separate bills in future from Virgin and from O2.

Once i'd joined Volt/O2 I had a lot of trouble registering my account on O2 and in the end the O2 tech people had to sort it out, all done now.

Re: Oomph to Volt

I rebooted my hub 4 the day after the new service started and it then came up as 1gig, 1.150 to be precise.
