Moving TiVo box to another room
Hi
I’m hoping someone can help.
Does anyone know how much it would cost to move a TiVo box from one room to another?
Many Thanks

Would it be cheaper to add an extra box, then a month later remove the original box?

No, extra boxes come expensive without going through Retentions and starting a new contract minimum period. More than the £99 for an additional box.

Re: Moving TiVo box to another room
Depending on how far you want to move the Tivo it can be a DIY job. I moved mine myself just using a length of appropriate quality cable and connectors. I got mine at a local electrical shop but you can buy lengths of cable (10m/25m etc) with connectors fitted on Amazon.

Re: Moving TiVo box to another room
The only risks about moving the TiVo box yourself would be if the cable you get is of a bad quality and introduce interference into the cable network and if virgin ever call out and find you modified their wiring they will bill you for the repair.
