professor layton game for DS

Hi all,

My gf decided she would like this for Christmas and when I checked its price - over £40?!!! I started looking around...

It's on ebay cheap from Hong Kong or China but I don't know if:
a) it'd work properly on UK DSs and is the same as the UK game
b) it'd get here by Christmas

Any thoughts or advice much appreciated...

That's something I worried about. The picture on the ebay listing shows the words in the game in English, I'm picturing the box and instructions all being in Japanese at least...might be deceptive seeing the pictures in the listing...

Re: professor layton game for DS

By the time you've ordered it, waited three weeks for it to turn up (missing Christmas), received it to find out that it's either a) a dodgy copy, b) the wrong item, or c) faulty, then (if it works at all) realised that the game is in Japanese.....

You might be better off just ordering it from somewhere local.

Its cheap for a reason, it will be a fake and may even be seized by Customs as the was an article on BBC Breakfast news last week about these games and the consoles.

Under £30 in Asda if you can find it in stock. And about the same in Tesco, iirc.

Hi Tvout

Have a look here, it's updated regular and you might be able to get hold of Prof Layton (an excellent game!) at a reasonable price and from a recognised retailer.

Hope this helps
