Cant really say I'm a Mel Gibson fan, but watched the excellent Gallipoli on video Saturday night. 9/10.

A really fun film and a great soundtrack as well.

I think it was the terrible acting that brought it down, because, really the storyline was pretty good...and it really got going about half way through imo.

Robert Zemeckis' all-CGI action epic about the mighty Cockney monster-slayer, Beowulf.
Apparently not too accurate an adaptation of the poem, but seeing as I still have never read it I didn't really care...

[Shine ya boots, Grendel? Apples & Pears?]
Despite the apparently unfaithful adaptation, & the strange mixture of accents, this is a really good movie IMO. Great effects, great action, some interesting characters. Oh, & Grendel's Mum  ...
Definitely recommended.

Deathproof 2/10 i found this rather boring after a while and too much swearing just for the sake of it.
Copland (stallone) was ok 5/10 hardly award winning but enough action to satisfy.
Tears of the sun 4/10, i'm not sure what it was, i just didnt like this film.
Payback (directors cut) 8/10 loved it.
