Vodafone BB bundle

BBC
Seems everyone wants in on the BB market
Quote:
Mobile phone operator Vodafone has said it is to enter the UK fixed-line broadband market after striking a deal with BT Group.
Vodafone said it hoped to launch the new service before the end of the year.
The company said the move would enable its customers to benefit from bundled packages of mobile and broadband services nationwide.
It added that the deal was a "strategically important step in the evolution of Vodafone's business".
Busy market
A number of other mobile operators have begun offering bundled packages of services to their customers.
Both Carphone Warehouse and BSkyB have announced cut-price broadband packages.

Re: Vodafone BB bundle

I can see another case of big spending in BB and then consolidation once again. Saying that the current round of consolidation hasn't finished yet. Are we forever going to have lots of new companies buying into BB here in the UK before being swallowed up by ever larger consolidated companies?
