Windows 10 1809 update?

So doing a check on my wife's laptop today I was offered the 1809 update from 1803.
Not knowing how long it was going to take to download/install I set it off to download.
100Mb download speed taking 2hrs to download then 4 hrs to install this seemed a bit over the top.
Anyone else installed this update and found any problems.

My PC gave me that update in October 2018, can't remember how long it took but it wouldn't have been anything like 2hrs, probably 30mins at most at a guess.

I've had alot of other updates since then.

Edit...

Thinking about this i think this was the update that got pulled for a few months as it was causing so many serious problems for some users, have a read.

Re: Windows 10 1809 update?

I've been using 1809 for quite a while - there are a few little niggles here and there for me that I doubt will see a fix for a while.

Particularly funny one - all new microphones (at least on the systems we've got deployed/my personal systems) seem to default to Telephone Quality and have to be set manually to a higher quality otherwise it sounds atrocious.

Few issues that have been around since previous versions still exist too but these should not effect a Home user.
