Warner Bros. Discovery - who own TLC - wants to save at least $3 billion in cost savings. WBD have got two women-focused channels broadcasting right now (Quest Red and TLC) with Quest Red broadcasting right now on Virgin Media Stream I can see WBD merge Quest Red and TLC to become one.

When the channel is advertised as being available and it isn't on stream it wouldn't tell me that they are closing it down.

The two channels although similar content are different businesses one being free to air and the other being a subscription service.

It is clearly meant to be there, it would most likely be a back of house error at Virgin Media.

They've also got a third female skewing channel, Really.

They have updated the channel list and TLC is not on Stream at all (for now)

Slightly odd that W HD is available for free and Dave HD is not, given that W and Dave are both flagship Freeview channels from UKTV.

If I were VM I would make Dave HD available for free as part of their 'HD as standard' rhetoric and add TLC HD to the Essential Entertainment pack so it still includes the 25 channels as advertised.

There appears to be a lot of channels missing when compared to the cable service. I wonder why so many of these channels are not available via VM's streaming service.

And is NBC News Now available via the streaming service?

It is a totally different proposition to the main service and is a 'lite' version of it. Although there is more HD in the basic free service than the 360 boxes.

The only news services on stream are BBC News HD, Sky News (HD at extra cost) , BBC Parliament HD and GB News HD.

The Sky streaming system is the same. Most of those missing on VM are missing on Sky too.
