Re: No Live Update - Since router
I had a problem with Live Update stopping working but got it working again by downloading the latest version from http://service1.symantec.com/SUPPORT...rc=bar_sch_nam

I had a problem recently with live update recently, not updating automatically, but you can update manually.
Try this first.
If that doesn't work, try this.
The second solution worked for me. A certain update kept reseting the task in scheduled tasks.

Right Mal I have gone with the Symantec fixes and tried the first one. The thing is I will have to wait a week to see if it works.
BTW why would I have an "Administrator" option for log-in, in Safe Mode, when I reinstalled XP as a sole user?

Well, it's just in case you did have another user with a limited account.

Re: No Live Update - Since router
In XP you ALWAYS have an Administrator account - its a default account which you cannot delete.
On one level, Its a get out of jail card if you manage to screw yours up.
