I am going to KILL the person who sent us that letter about the upgrade for august, I got this with my postcode

Your service is due to be upgraded during the month of October.

I think we have got the message by now.

Having the speed increases does not mean the end to every problem with the network or the internet as a whole. What did NTL say about your problem when you rang them?

Belfast proxy is dead ;P

change to another and you'll be fine. I did and I'm motoring along now at 1500kbps.

Skipped over this thread so quickly I missed the cache talk lol

At the time the speed upgrades were announced, NTL also said that they would be outsorcing their email and newsgroups. Anyone know if theres any progresss on this.

Well done on the speed upgrades btw ntl. Nice to give a bit of credit to them for a change.

Well i dont have broadband yet im getting in August 13th 300 k service. But my friend who is in my area got the 150 to 300 k upgrade and he is getting 35 kb a sec constant Nottinghamshire area.
