Agreed - I saw it in 3D, and some of the effects worked, and some didn't (imho).
Some very funny bits (especially the "Gangstas Paradise" singalong), and good action scenes.

Excellent! 9/10
Colin Firth definitely deserved last night's Golden Globe, & hopefully will get the Oscar too. Pity the film didn't win anything else though at the Globes.

Morning Glory 7/10 Starring: Rachel McAdams, Harrison Ford, Diane Keaton, Jeff Goldblum, Patrick Wilson I saw this with the new Virginmedia "Movies First" offer and it was quite a good movie UK release date: 28/1/2011

Silent Hill 7/10
I enjoyed it, special effects were very good, and the story was interesting, if a bit confused at times. One of the better video game to movie conversions.
