Snooker is unlikely to be filmed in HD.

I'm think it was in HD last year, maybe not. But I have seen snooker in HD recently.

And for those viewers who are watching in Black & White, the pink ball is just behind the blue.
Not sure if that's the exact quote, and can't remember the commentator/Year. But it was as funny as anything.

Unlikely, Ted Lowe retired in the mid '90's, it happened during an episode of Pot Black during the early '80's IIRC, might even have been a match involving Steve Davis.

Re: World Snooker Championship 2010

Found it - I was almost right.

This led to the infamously unhelpful quote from commentator Ted Lowe, who said: "Steve is going for the pink ball - and for those of you who are watching in black and white, the pink is next to the green."
