Re: Netflix/Streaming Services
This is the same if you access Amazon Prime Video via a firestick or via its app on a tablet or a smart TV. It’s a pain in the neck, and worse when they present you a box set with the first half dozen seasons included in Prime and then inexplicably the final season or two is chargeable.

But, on a more positive note, at least Amazon doesn't whip away content when you've barely had a chance to watch a few episodes. NowTV's HBO series are the worst - Sky needs to re-negotiate the On Demand for those shows pronto if it's serious about competing with Amazon and Netflix.

Re: Netflix/Streaming Services
Hmmm no HDR on Amazon's UHD content on the V6,
I think I'll carry on with my Firestick until VM fix that.

Re: Netflix/Streaming Services
The Firestick is always going to be better as it is the Amazon Prime Device - a opposed to being just an add-on for other devices.

Not sure about other platforms aka plusner, talktalk and sky.

TalkTalk are the next company to add Amazon Prime Video.

Re: Netflix/Streaming Services
Is anyone else missing a link to Prime Video from the Search & Discover menu?

Re: Netflix/Streaming Services
The link isn't there - it is in the Apps menu or from channel 228.

Odd that it's missing from there. Maybe it's because it is only available on V6 boxes?

You can stream Eurosport via Amazon on Talk Talk. I did it for a while. Good thing about it was it had all the catch up stuff on there as well.

I have a v6 box. I'm thinking it's either an oversight or a bug. Very annoying though!

I have a V6 box too, what I meant is that if the same Search & Discover menu appears on the TiVo box too maybe they can't link to an app that doesn't exist on both boxes. Only guessing.

It’s an omission, rather than a bug.
