saga freeview box

problem set top box from asda keeps going to auto tune every time you change channel its become a joke there is no way of turning it off ether

the actual box is made by saga

anyone else had the same anonying problem is it a bin job ?

Can you buy one that you can turn the auto tune feature off..

Most devices with a TV tuner will try to auto-tune when you switch them on out of the box. Some will do it every time you power on from the mains, but they should never do it repeatedly, while you're trying to change channel. In fact I've never seen any device do that before.

If it's still under guarantee, take it back. Otherwise bin it and buy something else. But don't worry about whether the replacement box has auto-tune, as I said it's not something that should normally give you any bother!

thanks that guy in the link me and him share exactly the same problem thats what mine is doing.. So its a case of binning it then.
