Re: The War Of The Worlds
About the lack of subs?
All 4 eps from Season 2 I discovered on each launch day with English subs onscreen for English and French where spoken respectively.

Re: The War Of The Worlds
I think you have misread it.
The lack of subs was referring to the canal+ rips of all 8 episodes.
The Disney Rips (which now go up to Ep 5) have forced english subs, the epix rips have hard coded english subs.

Re: The War Of The Worlds
Not sure which versions I have but I’m pretty certain they all have the Canal+ splash on them during the opening.

Those are the Disney+ Rips, they still retain the Canal+ logo in them. Episode 5 came out today.

Re: The War Of The Worlds
So does someone else have first run rights in the UK? I’m just wondering why Disney+ has dropped the whole of season 1 but isn’t giving us season 2 (yet). I’m just hoping they don’t repeat the mess they made with Marvel Runaways, putting 2 seasons of it on Disney+ and selling season 3 to SyFy UK at the same time. We had to wait over a year for them to finally add season 3 to Disney+UK even though it was available on the US platform from launch.
