Re: Manifest
Internal sources say this is looking good for a season 2 renewal.
The showrunner, Jeff Rake, has indicated they have a 6 year plan for the series.
Quote:
I’d encourage the audience to pay close attention to everything. Anything that’s featured and highlighted, either in dialogue or in a specific cutaway shot to a number or an object, is intentional. We are deliberately planting seeds, and a lot of them will grow into story strands, over the course of the seasons. It’s an organic a process. As we plant these seeds in the writers’ room, we spend a lot of time thinking about where we think the most important strands are and which are the ones that require the most development.
Whether is survives that long of course remains to be seen.
I have only seen the pilot. I have been too busy catching up with other stuff but I am nearly there. Make sure you move Stranger Things to the top of your list of things to watch.
When Montego Air Flight 828 landed safely after a turbulent but routine flight, the crew and passengers were relieved. But in the span of those few hours, the world had aged five years -- and after mourning their loss, their friends, families and colleagues had given up hope and moved on.
It also has a supernatural undertone. I'm still in episode one and seems pretty good so far...
