Lived there for 6 months in the early 70s and 6 months in the early 80s - my brother* has lived there for around 50 years (now lives in Barton-on-Humber)
* He played for S United for a couple of years.

The Mighty Iron. A tricky opponent on their day, and useless on others. A bit like the Pakistan cricket team ( who also ban skirts before anyone accuses me of going off topic )

Re: No skirts at school
Driving back from a shopping trip, my daughter remarked that she "can see those girls' knickers". All appearing out of a local High School. Then she gasped and told me to keep my eyes on the road as a sixth-former stepped out of the gates wearing a crop top and shorts that would have made Daisy Duke blush.

Itshim knows the one. It used to be a posh school, now dragged down by "outsiders".
It's known for being where Gareth Bale and Sam Warburton attended.

Do you mean it used to be a well run school, but is now an Academy begging parents for donations to buy more laptops?
