The payment date is the date the money leaves your bank. The payment process starts several days earlier with the request sent across to your bank in advance ready to process.

If the payment is due to collect on 05/11 it's likely this will happen either on 30/10 (before your cancellation completes) or 02/11 which may well be too soon after.

No arguments with that - just they have known for 30 days I have cancelled so no excuse for not getting a correct bill and definitely no excuse for a 45 day refund (total rip-off)
